Telling Stories That Matter
Capturing the Impact of Grace House
Since 2003, Grace House has supported disabled children, young people and their families across the local community.
Through a range of services and support programmes, they provide vital help to families navigating life with additional needs – enriching lives and creating a strong support network for those who need it most.
We were introduced to the team through Michael McNally, who leads a support group for parents of children with Special Educational Needs, primarily autism.
The aim was to create a documentary-style film that captured the heart of the programme and the impact it has on the families involved.
Turning Real Experiences Into a Powerful Story
To bring the story to life, we attended several of the group’s sessions and events – filming behind-the-scenes moments, conversations and interview-style content with those involved.
The goal was to authentically capture the experiences of parents, the support they receive, and the difference the programme makes in their lives.
All of this footage was then carefully crafted into a documentary-style film, telling the story of the group in a way that felt honest, emotional and impactful.
When the final film was presented to the families and local councils involved, the response spoke volumes – with many people deeply moved by seeing their experiences shared so powerfully on screen.
