It was time for a Brand Refresh

It’s crazy to think that we’ve already been in business for 2 years. Whilst being really proud of the journey, it felt like we should probably spend a little bit of time looking at ourselves.

When we first came up with ‘Who’s Listening’ it was a spur-of-the-moment decision made in the lively atmosphere of a Newcastle pub. The name, like our business, was born from spontaneity and creativity. Over the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible brands and have grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined.

However, as we reflected on our growth and where we see ourselves headed, it became clear that our brand identity needed to evolve too, plus I’m not sure we ever really actually liked our first logo!

When we first started the brand, we never really actually considered our own branding, mainly because we were unsure how successful the business would be. I mean I had worked freelance and generated a nice client base, but moving to an agency and bringing new team members on board was a completely different dynamic. That’s why the company name and logo were decided on in about 6 minutes and 42 seconds.

Now with four of us in the team, it felt like the right time to really think about our brand. With a deeper understanding of our industry, our clients and even our own capabilities, we think our new logo symbolises our maturity and our core mission – listening to and amplifying our clients’ voices.

We also felt it was important for the brand to align more with our vision- we aim to be more than just a marketing agency; we want to be strategic partners who help brands tell their stories in the most impactful way.

Also, when looking internally we want the brand to be recognisable. Our brand refresh is simple, yet powerful, making it easier for our clients and partners to identify and remember us.

We move forward into the rest of 2024 and beyond with our new brand and even some new services, but the same values and vision that got us here – creativity, commitment to our clients, and each other. We are excited about the next chapter and can’t wait to see what the future holds. A big thank you to all of our clients, friends and followers for being a part of our journey.
